Sam has completed a number of commissions for private clients. These projects have ranged from portrait busts for corporate clients to one-off figurative studies for private collectors.
Process
After an initial meeting and consultation to discuss the clients’ requirements and budget, Sam will take a number of photographs and sketches of the subject. She then builds an armature in her South West London studio, and commences work on the piece in terracotta clay. The client is invited to come to the studio to review the work, and to make changes or suggestions throughout the creative process. Once the client is completely satisfied with the piece in clay, it will be sent off to a foundry where it will be cast into bronze or bronze resin.
Timing
From initial consultation to delivery of the bronze artwork, the process should take between 8 -10 weeks.
